Junior doctor strike: advice for patients

Junior doctors in England are set to take to industrial action today (Tuesday 12 January) after talks between the British Medical Association (BMA) and NHS Employers failed to reach an agreement. The BMA is urging its junior doctor members to offer emergency care only between 8am on Tuesday 12 January and 8am on Wednesday 13 January.

Derbyshire Healthcare has tried and tested contingency plans in place and is working hard to ensure that as few patients as possible are affected by the industrial action.
