4Es meeting
Be part of our 4Es Stakeholder Alliance

Our 4Es (Equality, Engagement, Enablement and Experience) Stakeholder Alliance is a community of like-minded people with a mission to connect and work together to genuinely make a difference to the quality of life and experiences of people who need our help and support.

4Es acts as a platform for working together and delivering social value through capacity building, sharing resources, information, good practice and provision of mutual support to enable people to live a quality life.

We acknowledge that barriers and health inequalities exist in our society. However, Derbyshire Healthcare aims to place the individual and compassion at the centre of everything we do, and over the coming years we will strive to advance equality, tackle stigma and discrimination, build recovery and wellbeing structures and social capital to ensure that people hold the power to create opportunities for themselves and/or others and are therefore better able to access healthcare services and live a better life.

The 4Es Stakeholder Alliance holds the Trust to account for the delivery of locally developed and responsive services and employment by monitoring compliance with the NHS Equality Delivery System (EDS) and equalities legislation.

If you would like to be part of the 4Es Stakeholder Alliance and attend bi-monthly meetings to help improve healthcare services in Derbyshire, please email shirley.houston@derbyshcft.nhs.uk
